Introducing Vicky

Introducing Vicky

We'd like to introduce Vicky who has joined us to deliver Functional Skills & Health Care apprenticeships.

Growing up Vicky never felt all that academic and I focused more on practical activities. From the age of 13 she got involved with the Scouting movement and volunteered as a Cub Scout leader when she turned 16.

From the age of 4 she started dancing and became classically trained in ballet and contemporary at 16, yes a cultured member of our team!!

On turning 18 Vicky decided to change her life goal. She always knew that she wanted to help others so she decided to go to university and study Health, Well-Being and Social Care. Gaining a BSc (Hons) 2:1 degree while holding down a job in retail on weekends.

After graduating she gained some experience working in domiciliary care before moving into a care home.

3 years ago after having her daughter she attended an evening class and gained her math GCSE. She also went on to gain her assessor award knowing at this point that she wanted to become a teacher/assessor "I’m looking forward to starting my new career with Springfield Training and I cant wait to learn and gain new skills and qualifications" said Vicky, & we're really please that she chose to start her teaching career with us.
