Hi I’m Amy and have been working here at Springfield Training since February 2017. I have been working as an assessor for 4 years and really enjoy the role, it is challenging but rewarding. Springfield Training is a relative new company developing our skill set and experience to become bigger and better. It is great to be involved from the beginning and I am able to build mould and shape delivery of the courses which we deliver.
I got into assessing following a career in health and social care, having worked my way up the ranks I was ready for a different challenge. I went into training where I was teaching mandatory training to care/support workers, I have always been drawn to teaching but never went to university so didn’t think it was possible, then I was introduced to assessing. I have gained my qualification TAQA and now currently completing teacher trainer to continue to support me with personal and professional development, which is fantastic.
I am also qualified in youth work, drug awareness, positive behaviour support and supervision and counselling. I enjoy learning it is a passion of mine, we are never too old to learn and gain new knowledge, I believe that knowledge is power and can really support you in meeting your personal and professional objectives.
I have a big interest in energy work, yoga, meditation and mindfulness they each play a vital part of my life and enable me to continue to grow and develop and pursue my dreams. I like to share my knowledge and sometimes offer small treatments for my colleagues which is great and is very well supported by the MD!
