This qualification is suitable for all employees and provides an introduction to the hazards and risks involved in manual handling and outlines what to expect from a manual handling assessment, enabling employees to develop safer manual handling techniques in the workplace.

• The process of manual handling in the workplace
• Manual handling assessment and control options
• Manual handling injuries and the activities which cause them
• Responsibilities imposed by the Manual Handling Operations Regulations

Duration

Half day programme, followed by a multiple choice assessment.Courses can also be delivered in-house on client premises for groups of 6 or more
