Paediatric First Aid

Designed for people who deal with children of all ages, particularly under 8's, on a professional or voluntary basis. This course is approved by the National Childminders Association and the Pre-School Learning Alliance, and fully complies with the requirements of OFSTED for the first aid training of Childminders.

• Burns, shock & electric shock
• Contacting the emergency services
• Bleeding & pressure points
• Asthma, anaphylactic shock
• Diabetes & meningitis
• Angina & heart attacks
• Childhood diseases
• Collapse & recovery position
• Soft tissue injuries
• Hypothermia & heat stroke
• Child proofing the home/environment
• Choking, epilepsy & seizures
• Fractures & bandaging
• Rescue breaths & CPR

Duration

Two day (12hr) programme with practical and theory assessment throughout the course of each day.

Location

At our Hull City Centre training venue or on client's own premises for groups of 6 or more

Cost

£95 + VAT per delegate. This includes course delivery, assessment & certificate of achievement. Plus tea/coffee throughout the day.
