Emergency First Aid at Work

This HSE approved course is a direct replacement of the Appointed Persons First Aid course, and the qualification is valid for 3 years.

This practical course is suitable for all levels of staff and provides the required level of training for nominated Emergency First Aider at Work, in accordance with current Health & Safety regulations. It provides the delegate with the knowledge and skills to be able to deal effectively with most emergency situations until professional help arrives.

• Asthma, anaphylactic shock
• Rescue breaths & CPR
• Hypothermia & heatstroke
• Burns, shock, electric shock
• Angina & heart attacks
• Bleeding & pressure points
• Diabetes
• Collapse & recovery position
• Contacting the emergency services
• Choking, epilepsy & seizures
• Bandaging & slings
• Fractures and Shock
• Accident Book

Duration

One day (6hr) programme with the morning being theory and discussion followed by hands on skills and practical assessments in the afternoon.

Location

At our Hull City Centre training venue or on client's own premises for groups of 6 or more

Cost

£65 + VAT per delegate. This includes course delivery, assessment & certificate of achievement. Plus tea/coffee throughout the day.
