National Certificate for Designated Premises Supervisors (NCDPS

This BIIAB course was developed in conjunction with local government, the police and the industry, to support the new post of Designated Premises Supervisor created by the Licensing Act 2003.

Designed to provide delegates with an understanding of their roles and responsibilities within the Licensing Act 2003, the course also addresses the practical day-to-day issues involved in running a licensed premises. It is suitable for both existing and aspiring Designated Premises Supervisors, and covers all types of licensed premises.

  • The roles & responsibilities of the designated premises supervisorncdps
  • Best practice to support the four licensing objectives
  • The licensable activities carried out in licensed premises
  • How to conduct a risk assessment, & how it is used to underpin the operating schedule
  • The requirements of legislation
  • The relationship between the operating schedule & management controls

 

Duration

One day programme with examination at the end of the day.

Location

At one of our BIIAB approved examination centres in Hull City Centre

Cost

£125 + VAT per delegate. This includes BIIAB registration, examination, certification & handbook, plus lunch and refreshments.
