Course Content

The following two Modules combine to form the Professional Barperson's Qualification.

Module One - Award In Responsible Alcohol Retailing

Module Two - Customer & Drinks Service Certificate

• The strengths & effects of alcohol
• Preparing the bar for service
• Alcohol retailing & the Licensing Act 2003
• Serving procedures
• The law regarding children & young people
• Clearing, cleaning & closing procedures
• Fulfilling your social & legal responsibilities
• Maintaining customer care
• Social & Legal responsibilities - Dealing with drunken customers
• Maintaining working relationships
• Strategies for recognising, dealing with & preventing violence
• Selling skills
• Payment & Security

Duration

Two day programme with practical & theory assessment throughout the course of each day.

Location

At one of our BIIAB approved examination centres in Hull City Centre

Cost

£250 + VAT per delegate. This includes BIIAB registration, examination, certification & handbook, plus lunch and refreshments.
