Provides information and practical advice covering the fundamental activities, processes and procedures needed by anyone new to working in a commercial kitchen environment. The award covers nine key subject areas.

  • Food presentation
  • Basic knife skills
  • Waste disposal methods
  • Storage methods & temperature recording of foods
  • The use & cleaning of machinery & equipment
  • Food preparation
  • Cleaning of workstations, walls & floors
  • Sandwich making

Duration

One day programme with examination at the end of the day.

Location

At one of our BIIAB approved examination centres in Hull City Centre

Cost

£125 + VAT per delegate. This includes BIIAB registration, examination, certification & handbook, plus lunch and refreshments.
