What will the apprentice be doing?
We are looking for someone enthusiastic to be a part of our Marketing team. You will be co-ordinating with other team members for undertaking all promotional activities. You will be trained to become responsible for creating content for the company’s social media and web pages and analysing various online metrics.
You will be trained how to conduct learner and employer surveys, questionnaires and monitoring the completion count on a regular basis. You will be trained to be able to optimize the company’s website to make it SEO friendly. Managing all e-communications, online listings and contacting media professionals for advertisement campaigns will also be a part of your job role.
The role involves demonstration of strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and adopting a proactive approach to developing these skills. The Digital Marketing Executive is also expected to show initiative, managing priorities and own time effectively, problem-solving skills, and decision-making.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Assisting the business development and marketing departments with campaigns and events.
2. Performing administrative tasks such as updating databases and spreadsheets.
3. Conducting market research and developing effective marketing strategies for our training programmes. This includes evaluating the success of digital marketing activities.
4. Creating engaging and SEO friendly content for the company’s website, social media pages and for press releases.
5. Coordinating with the management team to schedule all marketing activities and business priorities.
6. Preparing and conducting surveys/questionnaires to gather learner and employer feedback.
7. Communicating with clients and affiliate partners of Springfield Training as appropriate.
8. Ensuring proper portrayal of brand’s image and tone of voice in all marketing activity.
9. Conducting research on latest market trends and keywords for our education and training offer.
10. Drafting marketing emails and campaigns that promote Springfield Training and our diverse curriculum offers.
11. Maintaining the company’s social media accounts
12. Attending marketing events and training sessions as appropriate.
13. Analysing and tracking online marketing metrics and create basic analytical dashboards using appropriate digital tools that demonstrate our impact.
14. To keep updated with all required company policies and operational procedures.
15. Actively contribute to the management of your own development and complete all apprenticeship tasks and objectives on time, including off the job training. Apprentices must also achieve one internationally recognised vendor/professional qualification during their apprenticeship.
16. Any other duties commensurate to the role.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Your apprenticeship training will take place within your workplace, the newly refurbished Springfield Training business hub. You will be fully supported as you work towards gaining a valuable Digital Marketer Level 3 qualification, which will include Level 2 Functional Skills English & Maths (exempted if already achieved) and the Knowledge Module 3: Digital Marketing Business Principle (for level 3 Digital Marketer Apprenticeship). You will work alongside friendly, experienced colleagues who will be there to support you, in addition to the continous support provided by your Digital Marketing teacher.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
On successful completion of the qualification, there is a possibility of a permanent position at Springfield Training for the candidate.
